Radio Play is an independent music charts and editorial platform. We built it on a single belief: the charts that move culture should be public, transparent, and free to read.

Our charts are aggregated continuously from open music data — streaming totals, public airplay, and editorial coverage from independent music publications. No paywalls. No platform lock-in. No proprietary algorithms hidden behind closed doors.

How it works

• 01 Live charts and metadata are sourced from the open Deezer Public API.
• 02 News and reviews are aggregated from public RSS feeds — Pitchfork, Stereogum, Consequence, NME.
• 03 Music videos link out to YouTube search for the official artist video.
• 04 Everything updates continuously, on-demand. No editorial gatekeeping.

Radio Play stands on the shoulders of independent music journalism. Story credits and links always point back to the original publication. Chart data attributed to its source. Artist imagery sourced from the open music ecosystem.
